hello again!! sorry to have archived all of my art on here; i haven't posted on this account since like 2015, and i never really had plans to come back, so i personally don't want to keep all of my art from middle school public just because it's embarrassing lol

but i don't want to deactivate this account or anything because of the memories, and i don't want to completely lose all of my old art.

unfortunately, in recent years, i've found social media to be too exhausting, and i've honestly grown to not be interested in art anymore, despite it having been my dream since like 4th grade to become an animator. :(

there are far too many artists that create/support inappropriate content. and there are just too many disgusting people on the internet—and within the industry itself—for me to be comfortable anymore.

i've seen far too many artists be exposed for creating/supporting p*dophilic content, non-con, pr0-shipping, and other such inappropriate things.

the s*xualization of children is FAR too normalized within society, but especially within art communities.

and unfortunately, this kind of stuff has really ruined my interest in art and cartoons and everything. these aren't the type of people i want to be associated with.

this type of content isn't acceptable, even if it's "just fictional." that's not an excuse. it's still just as harmful, and it normalizes/romanticizes traumatizing experiences. it's disgusting no matter what, and i don't understand how people can condone it in any way, shape, or form.

i don't want this to get too long, so i'll leave my rant there. it's just really upsetting to learn of artists creating or supporting such awful content, especially when it's an artist you once interacted with prior to learning that about them. i can't stand the fact that social media allows such disgusting people to have a platform.

but anyway, please continue to be safe on the internet, and thank you for all the fun years!
